Little Johnny 5 (RCX)

March 2005: This little cute LEGO replica of Johnny 5 robot has working treads, poseable head, neck, eyebrows, hands and laser gun. It’s built from a single LEGO MINDSTORMS RIS 2.0 kit. He can follow lines with a light sensor placed between the treads. The 24z gears work also as wheels and are driven by the 8z gears that are attached to the motor shafts. Here’s my bigger version of Johnny 5 made with the RCX.
