LEGO Rolling Robot

The LEGO rolling robot that seems BB-8 droid

Build a spherical vehicle!

PALLA v2 is a remote-controlled LEGO rolling robot based on LEGO Power Functions. I call it a rolling robot, but actually it does not include any programmable device like LEGO MINDSTORMS.

PALLA v2 is a quite unusual remote controlled vehicle, and resembles a lot the Gyrosphere vehicles seen in the Jurassic World movie (2015) or the body of the cool BB-8 droid from Star Wars 7 movie. PALLA v2 is an evolution of PALLA v1 which was launched on LEGO Ideas in 2015. You can get the building instructions for this model by clicking the button below.

Once built, this LEGO rolling robot is ready to go, thanks to the LEGO Power Functions technology!
The quality of the building instructions is comparable to the LEGO official ones . The building and programming instructions are detailed and clear.

LEGO parts required

This model requires a particular assortment of LEGO elements, not included in a single LEGO set. You might need to get the parts from marketplaces like BrickLink. To speed your order, I prepared the BrickLink Wanted List for this model.
