Here's another biped robot, in the shape of a standing owl.
Details are poor, since I used only RIS 2.0 parts, plus a rotation sensor.
This is a COG-Shifting biped.
It uses 2 motors, a touch sensor & a rotation sensor:
Motor A:
head oscillating
Motor C:
feet turning
Touch sensor:
head position
Rotation sensor
: legs position
Walking principle is simple:
Bends right
Rotates feet
to make a step forward
Bends left
...and so on...
This biped can change direction on its own footprints and can
turn left or right.

Rear view:
Here you can see the gearings that make legs turn.
The 40z gear on the left is mounted on the rotation sensor.
